Florida Appliance Rebate Program

The Florida Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program has received $17,780,000 in federal stimulus funds from the $300 million available nationwide from the U. S. Department of Energy to establish and administer an Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program.

The state program has chosen the following categories of appliances for the rebate program: gas tank-less water heaters, clothes washers, refrigerators, dishwashers, room air-conditioners and freezers.
